About half way through Cash's birthday party something very terrible happened... my camera broke. For me it's like losing a best friend!!! Well it was still working, but stayed zoomed out. Let me tell you my friends that makes taking pictures very difficult! So that means time for a new camera. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Here are a few pics from the first night of new camera fun!

Kurt's Birthday Weekend

Last weekend Kurt celebrated his ?? birthday. It was such an amazing weekend, we couldn't have asked for a better time! Friday after school we kicked of the weekend with the girls giving Kurt a mini party. Then we packed up the car and headed home. As soon as we got to town we went straight to the stadium to enjoy some Texas highschool football. Kurt was so proud not only taking Cash to his first football game, but also taking him to his old alma mater! We had so much fun wtching Cash watch the game and the crowd. We spent Saturday helping Kurt's parents move into their new house, it is so fun watching it all come togther. Then Saturday night we had the big birthday dinner with all the fam! I couldn't of asked for a better family to marry into, I love them all so much. The weekends are never long enough, Sunday afternoon we were headed back to Fort Worth to get ready for the week. For Kurt's birthday he decided that he wanted to get a new tennis racket. Cash thought that it was the neatest thing so we found Kurts old racket out in the gargage, and instantly Cash was getting his forst tennis lesson!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Monday was the first day of school for the girls at their new school... so far so good! Last night at the 3rd grade parent orientation Cassi's teacher came up to me and said, "I just want to know how you raise such a sweet girl," it warmed my heart! I am really looking forward to this new school year...

All good things must come to an end!!!!

Well friends... summer is coming to an end! Last night the girls had Meet the Teacher Night at their new school and got to check out their classrooms. They are now ready to start the new school year on Monday morning!
Today we had an end of summer celebration by spending all afternoon at the pool with friends followed by the Frisco Rough Riders game with the KidZone group from our church. It really was the best day we had all summer... so much fun!

On June 23 while at vacation bible school Cassi declared Jesus Christ as her Lord and prayed that He would come into her heart. We couldn't have been more proud of her! Last Sunday she made a public profession of her decision by being baptized. It truely was a special day for all of us. <><






You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for
all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:26-27

The Newest Addition To Our Family!!!!

Wrigley McCord! He is just the cutest dog ever... Cash is so in love with him! The girls are still at thier dads house so, we are keeping him a surprise until they get home at the begining of August!
